The assassination of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Ahmed Gulak in Owerri, Imo State is generating reactions from elite Nigerians.
Fani-Kayode, in a tweet, condemned the assassination of the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to Fani-Kayode, who is a former minister of aviation, the assassination was the handwork of skilled professionals.

Reacting, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, described the killing of Gulak as “needles.”
He called on government to beging to hold persons accountable for their crimes.
He tweeted, “The spate of killings across the country should be a source of concern to every Nigerian. These needless killings have reached pandemic levels. The killings in Benue & shooting to death of former presidential adviser, Ahmed Gulak by yet-to-be-identified persons stands condemned.
“Unless, and until relevant agencies begin to hold persons accountable for their crimes, others will be emboldened to tread the same path of criminality.”
A former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani said “road travels in some parts of the country have become a dangerous expedition and hellish experience.”
VANTAGE NEWS had reported that Gulak was assassinated by gunmen that intercepted him on his way to the airport on Sunday morning.
A statement issued by the Imo State Police Command says that the killers have been neutralised following a gun battle with the suspected assailants at Afor Enyiogugu in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of the state.
