Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed disappointment over the failure of his side to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

The inability of the Brenda Rodger’s team to beat Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the league season ensured that Chelsea who also lost at Aston Villa finished a point ahead of Leicester City.

In a tweet, the Super Eagles man who was in top form in the second half of the season took consolation in his side’s FA cup triumph.

He tweeted, “Disappointed to miss out on UCL qualification, we gave it all until the last moment. I’m proud of my team, winning the FA Cup was a dream for us. We’ll use this as motivation to be back next season! Thanks to the fans for your support this season. Have a great Summer everyone.”
