See What Nnamdi Kanu Said About Restructuring

IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to calls for the restructuring of the country.

Calls for restructuring gained momentum last week after 17 southern governors in Asaba, Delta State asked President Muhammadu Buhari to take steps leading to the evolution of state police, review of revenue allocation formula in favour of the sub-national governments and creation of other institutions which legitimately advance their commitment to and practice of true federalism.

Reacting on Monday via his twitter handle, Kanu said that restructuring the country will not solve Nigeria’s challenges.

He wondered if restructuring would turn bad men to good men.

He said, “Do you want Nigeria restructured to the 1960 era that lasted only 6 years? Or to Aburi that drove you all mad enough to commit GENOCIDE? Will this your new #restructuring turn bad men to good men? It won’t. What Nigeria needs is dismemberment, not some dodgy restructuring.”
