The management of Abia State University, Uturu, has announced a change in lecture hours due to rising insecurity.
The change comes barely 24 hours after some students of the institution were kidnapped by alleged Fulani herdsmen.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Acho Elendu, lecture hours and all forms of interaction with students in the university should be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Elendu warned lecturers against violating the new timetable.
