Gernot Rohr’s men arrived in Porto Novo on Friday for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Benin on Saturday by boat.
The Super Eagles defeated the Squirrels 2-1 in the first leg staged at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo courtesy of goals from Victor Osimhen and Samuel Kalu.
Following a disappointing goalless draw against Sierra Leone the last time out, the three-time African champions would be going all out for a win which would guarantee them a ticket to their 19th appearance at the biennial African football showpiece.
Michel Dussuyer’s team, who are unbeaten in their last three games, would fancy their chances of upsetting the 2013 African champions as they are keen on reaching the finals for the fifth time.
