Senator Sani Reacts To Release Of Video Clips Of Abducted Kaduna Students

A former senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to the video clips released by the kidnappers of some students in Kaduna.

Videos showing the students abducted from Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Igabi LGA of Kaduna state, surfaced online on Saturday.

In the videos which surfaced online on Saturday, the students were seen sitting on the floor in an unknown location, guarded by armed men whose identities were not revealed.

The victims were making appeal to the government to pay the ransom demanded by the bandits so that they would be freed.

Reacting through his verified Twitter handle, Senator Sani described the video as “painful to watch”, lamenting that how the country receded to this level is so sad.

He added that “this is a great challenge to d leadership of this country to wake up to its responsibilities. More action & vigilance is needed”.

Both the Kaduna State government and the Federal Government were yet to react to this development as at the time of this report.
