VANTAGE NEWS reported that the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) on Thursday, initiated an upward review of the price of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol to N212.6 per litre.
The development is generating angry reactions from Nigerians who have taken to social media to express their anger.
Some also blasted those that participated in the #OccupyLagos that took place in Ojota, 2012, when former President Goodluck Jonathan removed fuel subsidy.
See reactions below:
Breaking: Fuel sells for N210 as against 197 when the Ojota Charade erupted.
Why is everywhere quiet? The hungry activists av been rewarded with positions.
Buhari comes out unhurt from things and scenarios that would av brought goodluck down.
We're taking notes though

Buhari actually promised Nigerians to return fuel price to below N100 per litre, but today it is at N212 per litre. Isn't this scam?

Very obvious those 'Ojota activists' were sponsored by the APC.

Let’s Match to Ojota
Let’s resume at Ojota
There’s no point sitting at home and complaining how things will get expensive.
Let’s match. This concerns everyone. N212 for fuel in a country were they are reluctant to pay N30k minimum wage is much. Let’s head to Ojota #FuelPriceHike

I'm happy Sai baba became president or else Nigerians would have termed Buhari the best Nigeria never had

1. Unbridled deregulation in an economy with STAGNANT wages is a recipe for poverty.
2. I have been consistent that if the refineries aren’t working then there MUST be some subsidies to protect the citizens from the vagaries of international pricing .
3. I was in OJOTA in 2012…
