Reno Omokri, a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has blasted the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma for allowing the military carry out airstrikes in Orlu.
VANTAGE NEWS reported that the military in a joint operation with the police in Orlu and Orsu Local Government Areas of Imo State carried out airstrikes against members of the Eastern Security Network formed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Reacting, Omokri said that Emeka Ihedioha who was removed from office by the Supreme Court in early 2020 would not have allowed such.
He tweeted, “If not for the Supreme Court Governor in Imo, the invasion of Orlu by troops, helicopters and artillery would not have happened. Emeka Ihedioha would never have allowed this. As bad as Rochas is, he would not allow this. Maybe this was why they wanted Uzodinma!”
