Some Nigerians have taken to twitter to react to the statement by the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman that he purchased his third private jet during the COVID-19 lockdown.
In a viral video, the apostle also admitted he didn’t pray for COVID-19 to end because it afforded him the opportunity to rest.

I no dey blame apostle suleman or any other pastor, I dey blame nigerians wey allow pastors and apostles etc, to brainwashed them.

I pray God helps Apostle Suleman.
Everything is wrong in the fact that those words came out.
The gospel of the kingdom is not about money money money alone.
And when you speak in tongues, you are not printing any money.
Haba!

Apostle Suleman is not your God!
Your Pastor is not your God!
They are both human…God is supernatural, God is supreme…Know God for yourself💛

Apostle suleman is man and not a God it's normal to misuse words everyday we're all human. Know this and know peace 💙

Imagine Apostle Suleman saying he prayed Covid-19 shouldn't end cus he made more money during the pandemic,
He didn't even think about the million of people that have died, he's only after his pocket.
I salute those who worship at his church ⛪.

"When you speak in tongues, you are printing money"
No emotions or euphoria or an attempt to convince the worshippers should make any man of God utter such statement.
That's "bastardisation" of the gospel of our Christ
The first Apostle Suleman meeting i attended was my last

Dear Nigerians,
I find these guys more motivating than Apostle Suleman.
These are true Nigerians, the actual group that have trusted their religious & political leaders, yet get nothing in return.
Except, perhaps, a seasonal nearest available polling booth.
God bless them. pic.twitter.com/YSulBisoSd

From the short video i have seen I think apostle Suleman was trying to make a point that his wealth wasn’t from the church hence him saying he made more money during corona while churches were closed. Haven’t seen the full video though

Regardless of what Apostle Suleman said, 1 Chronicles 16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Let that be between him and God.

We've got little or no respect for men of God in Nigeria 🇳🇬..
In as much as you wanna make an impression, there are more way many topics to do so.Apostle Suleman @APOSTLESULEMAN is indeed a man a God and whether you like him or not, he's indeed a blessing to many lives. pic.twitter.com/uTFVdBkcKM
