The General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has been slapped a N2 billion suit by a former pastor of the church, Mike Davids, for unlawfully interfering in his marriage to Pastor Faith Edeko.

VANTAGE NEWS reported that Davids had last week accused Apostle Suleman of hypnotising and committing adultery with his wife.

Davids, whose wife now head the Utako, Abuja branch of the church, wrote a petition to the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu alleging threat to his life.

In response to the petition, IGP Adamu ordered an immediate probe into the matter.

However, Davids, on Thursday, filed a suit Pet/041/2021 before the court, accusing Apostle Suleman of preventing him from seeing his children after destroying his home.

Davids in the petition for decree of restitution of conjugal rights, stated that he married his wife pursuant to Section 24 of the Marriage Act at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Ekpoma, on December 6, 2008 by virtue of which only a High Court can annul the union.

He is also seeking an order preventing Apostle Suleman, Omega Fire Ministries and their agents from relating or gaining access to his wife and kids.

The former Omega Fire Ministries Pastor is also seeking an award of punitive and examplary damages in the sum of N20bn against Apostle Suleman and his church.

He is also seeking to be payed the sum of N2 million being the cost of prosecuting the action suit before the court.

Apostle Suleman and Pastor Faith Edeko denied the allegations labelled against them by Davids.
