The Adamawa State Police Command has banned illegal use of sirens, tinted glass and covered number plates in the state.
This was stated in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Command’s spokesman, DSP Suleiman Nguroje.
According to the statement, the ban was to prevent the acts from misleading security operatives.
Nguroje said that the command is working tirelessly in partnership with sister security agencies to ensure that the state is secure
He also said that the command embarked on operations that include; stop and search, constant raid on suspected criminal hideouts, traffic decongestions and rapid response among others.
The spokesman called on residents of the state to remain law abiding.
