Multiple reports indicate that Chelsea are expected to sack Frank Lampard on Monday with Thomas Tuchel in line to replace him.
Lampard was appointed Chelsea manager in 2019 after a one year stint with Derby County in the English Championship.
The Chelsea great took the West London side to a top four finish in his maiden season in top-flight football management but has been having a poor start to life in his second season in charge of the club where he made a name as a player.
Despite spending over £200million in the summer, the 42-year-old’s side sit 11 points adrift of league leaders, Manchester United.
It is understood Tuchel is set to be appointed Lampard’s successor.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager Tuchel is currently out of job having been sacked by Paris Saint-Germain just before Christmas despite taking them to the Champions League finals a few months back.
