
The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a state caretaker committee to pilot he affairs of the party following the dissolution of the state executive on Tuesday.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP said that the decision is in line with the provisions of the constitution of the party.
VANTAGE NEWS reported that the PDP on Tuesday, dissolved the executive committee of the Ebonyi State chapter of the party.
The new committee will be headed by Fred Udeogu while Luke Nkwegu will serve as the secretary.
Other members include; Gideon Osi (Publicity Secretary), James Alaka (Organising Secreatary), Amaka Igboke (Women Leader);Mudi Irenede (Legal Adviser) and Ibeshi (Youth Leader)
The party said, “Following the dissolution of the Ebonyi State Exco of our great party, the NWC has constituted a state caretaker committee to pilot the affairs of the party in Ebonyi state in line with the provisions of the constitution of the PDP.”
