In the midfield were Oghenekaro Etebo, Joe Aribo, and Alex Iwobi wile the trio of captain, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze and Kelechi Iheanacho led the attack.
With the draw, Nigeria are on 8 points, a point ahead of second placed Benin Republic that also played out a goalless draw away against Lesotho.
