Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has called on Junior officers and other ranks of the Nigerian Armed Forces to disobey illegal orders given by their superiors.
Kanu, said that disobeying illegal orders of superior officers is legal under the Armed Forces Act.
He was reacting to the senseless killings of peaceful #EndSARS protesters by alleged officers of the Nigerian Army last Tuesday.
The controversial Kanu, who made this known through official twitter handle, added that it is illegal for the Nigerian Army to order its officers to kill Nigerian youths.
He said, “Dear junior officers & other ranks of the Nigerian Armed Forces: Under the Armed Forces Act, you’ve the right to DISOBEY illegal orders of your superior officers. Being ordered by @HQNigerianArmy to KILL #NigerianYouths is ILLEGAL. It’s a CRIME. Disobey it. Heavens won’t fall.”
