The United Kingdom High Commission has reopened its visa application centres in Victoria Island, Lagos and Abuja following last weeks closure due to the #EndSARS protests.
The UK announced the closure of its visa issuance office centres in Nigeria barely a week ago as a result of the crisis and tension created by hoodlums that hijacked the peaceful #EndSARS protests nationwide.
The High Commission tweeted this on Wednesday.
The centres would however not function on Thursday due to the eid celebration in Nigeria.
In the statement titled ‘update on UK visa application centres in Nigeria,’ the UK said it is working hard to process all outstanding applications.
“Our TLS contact visa application centres are now open in Nigeria. Following the recent closures, we are working hard to process all outstanding applications.
“We thank you for your continued patience and understanding. Please note Thursday, October 29, is a public holiday in Nigeria and our Visa application centres will be closed,” the statement read in parts.
