The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has advised Nigerians who have relatives that are security agents on what to tell them on the #EndSARS protest that has engulfed the nation.

The IPOB leader in a post on his Twitter handle on Tuesday said those that have security agents as relatives should tell them that it’s an international CRIME to use live bullets against #EndSARS protesters.

No fewer than ten people have been reported dead since the protest seeking for an end to police brutality began last week. One of them is Jimoh Isiaq who was felled by a police bullet aimed at protesters in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Kanu in the post said it is the duty of security agents to humanity to disobey all orders to suppress the protests.

He wrote, ” Dear Nigerians: If your relative/friend is a security agent (Police, Army, DSS), tell him that it’s an international CRIME to use live bullets against #EndSARS protesters; that it’s his DUTY to humanity to DISOBEY all orders to suppress the protests. If you KILL, you will SUFFER!”

The protest is continuing in many states across the nation today as the youths demand swift action from the federal government beyond mere announcements.
