Another blast has occurred in Lebanon’s southern village of Ein Qana, about 50km south of Beirut.
The blast took place at a Hezbollah arms depot, sending a new shockwave across the country still reeling from a blast in the capital that killed nearly 200 people in August.
Lebanon’s national guard said it was investigating the incident.
Hezbollah has reportedly blamed the explosion on a “technical error” at their arms depot.
It was not immediately clear what the “error” was that caused the powerful blast.
After the blast, Hezbollah quickly imposed a security cordon around the blast area, barring journalists from reaching it.
